Set revenue goals and manage your finances

Go to the revenue stripe on your home tab.

Go to the revenue stripe on your home tab.

Click on the breakeven point amount, and set your current business breakeven point.

Click on the breakeven point amount, and set your current business breakeven point.

If you don’t know exactly what your current breakeven point is, just enter a number that reflects your best estimate of your current expanses. You can always change this number later.

Click on the monthly goal amount to open the goals setting screen.

Enter your monthly revenue goals.

Enter your monthly revenue goals.

You can enter each monthly goal separately or enter an annual goal and click the “Split evenly” button to divide it equally between all remaining months. Set a number that is realistic for you, but will challenge you to succeed.

You can return to this screen to update your goals any time.

In the revenue stripe of your home tab you will see:

How much you’ve made this month so far.

How you are doing compared to your breakeven point, and your monthly revenue goal.

The number under the breakeven point is actually your profit. The sum you get to take home.

The red section means you haven’t covered your expenses yet. The yellow section means you started to make profit, but haven’t reached your monthly revenue goal yet. The green section means you’ve reached your monthly revenue goal! Well done!
